Wendy graduated from Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy in Toronto in 1985. She has spent most of her career working in Victoria with a few years in multi-disciplinary clinics and spas in Calgary, Kelowna and Brentwood Bay. Swedish massage and acupressure form the basis of her work. Deep tissue techniques may also be used to address long-standing restrictions in muscles and fascia. Her intent is to always make the treatment relaxing and therapeutic. Regardless of age, medical history or lifestyle, the session can be adapted to your needs and level of experience with massage. “I am truly baffled that this place has such a high rating. I went for my massage 20 minutes early to fill out paperwork etc, but Wendy was 30 minutes late getting to me, but stuff happens so I let it go. She gave me my paperwork and said 'usually we do this together but just fill this out'. I booked a 75 minute massage- now 45 mins, I told her I still had to go at my scheduled out time and she gave me attitude. Just wild. She forgot to turn the lights down and turn on the music until about 10 minutes before my massage was over. It felt like a cafeteria room. When I asked for more pressure, she didn't apply more. I've been for many massages and never experienced anything like this. I felt rushed, undervalued and like an inconvenience. I left with no relief to my pain.
