Yan Yang, RMT
Yan is a clinically focused Registered Massage Therapist who combines evidence-informed treatment with a whole-person approach to care. Rather than focusing solely on symptoms, she works to understand the underlying patterns contributing to pain, tension, and restricted movement, creating treatment plans that are thoughtful, individualized, and restorative.
Her practice integrates myofascial release, trigger point therapy, Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD), therapeutic massage, and nervous system–focused relaxation techniques. Yan has a particular interest in treating head, neck, and jaw tension, including TMJ dysfunction, tension headaches, scalp-related stress tension, and upper chest and shoulder restriction. She is especially passionate about helping people whose chronic stress, anxiety, or mental overload has become physically stored in the body.
Her goal is not only to reduce discomfort and improve function, but also to help clients experience a deeper sense of calm, mental clarity, and connection with their bodies.
Outside the clinic, Yan maintains her own well-being through exercise, the martial art Wing Chun, time in nature, and meaningful time with family.
