Association. Yomna holds a Master’s Degree in Inclusive and Special Education and is Registered Canadian Art Therapist (RCAT). Yomna has a
strong passion and commitment to supporting neurodivergent and neurotypical children and
youth.
Yomna has a rich and extensive background with over 15 years of experience in developing and
implementing creative treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of her clients. Her expertise
in therapeutic art interventions has led to the facilitation of impactful individual and group healing
sessions, where she creates a safe environment for self-expression and problem-solving.
Yomna possesses a solid foundation in research-based therapeutic practices and inclusive
pedagogy and uses an eclectic approach to create supportive and empowering environments
for all individuals. She offers culturally sensitive therapy in English and Arabic to support
children and youth navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, developmental delays as well
as social/emotional/behavior challenges linked to Autism Spectrum Disorder and learning
exceptionalities.
