Yong received his Bachelor of Medicine degree in Acupuncture and Moxibustion from Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China in 1998 after five years of study. He had been practicing acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine for 19 years in two hospitals (Tai-an Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Affiliated Hospital of Shandong University) as an acupuncturist and traditional Chinese medicine doctor before he settled in Canada in 2017.
Yong is currently registered at CTCPMAO (The College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario) as an acupuncturist and traditional Chinese medicine practitioner. He is also registered as a non-active acupuncturist and traditional Chinese medicine practitioner with CTCMA (College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists) in British Columbia. Yong has more than twenty years experiences of helping his patients to improve their health and well-being, especially in the following fields:
