I would never tell you to avoid certain foods, just because it might help. I know that struggling to conceive is hard enough. That’s why I believe in the providing evidence-based care that is individualized to you and your needs. As a professor, I am passionate about education. I believe in empowering my students and patients with accurate information. I have been invited to speak to my colleagues on topics related to to infertility at the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians, the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors, and the Institute of Women’s Health and Integrative Medicine. I have a volunteer role as an advisory council member for Fertility Matters Canada. I have been the chair of Canadian Infertility Awareness Week since 2017.
