À propos de Alyssa
Dans ses motsHi, I’m Alyssa (she/her), a Registered Clinical Counsellor (#20364), and I’m really glad you’re here.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply looking for a space to reflect and grow, you’re not alone. There’s a space for you to be supported, exactly as you are. I’m here to help you work through life’s challenges while gaining a deeper understanding of yourself and how you relate to the world around you.
In our work together, we’ll explore the root causes of the patterns or pain you may be carrying, while also focusing on practical, meaningful strategies you can use in your daily life. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, low mood, grief, trauma, stress, relationship struggles, identity exploration, or self-esteem issues—I’ll meet you with compassion, curiosity, and care.
My approach is grounded in evidence, practice, and client-centred care. I draw from a variety of therapeutic modalities including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (TF-CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness-Based Somatic Therapy (MBST), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Attachment-Based Therapy (ABT). My goal is to support both deep healing and real-life change.
Therapy is a space where your story matters. It’s a space to feel safe, seen, and supported—while discovering new ways to cope, grow, and move forward. I’d be honoured to walk alongside you on this journey.
If you’re curious about starting therapy or wondering what the process might look like, I invite you to reach out or book a consultation. I’d love to connect and see how I can support you.
