###Meet Bill
###Child, Adolescent & Family Therapist
For over 20 years, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside children, youth, and families as they navigate life’s challenges and celebrate their strengths. Throughout my work, I’ve found that a calm, clear approach can create a space where meaningful healing happens. I hold a Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work and also teach as a Casual Faculty Member at Bow Valley College, where I enjoy sharing my passion for social work with students.
My approach draws from a variety of therapeutic methods, guided both by what the evidence shows to be effective and by what feels right for each individual I work with. I’m deeply committed to providing compassionate, trauma-aware, and culturally informed support to children, youth, parents, co-parents, families, and individuals alike. My clinical focus is on helping individuals manage emotions, navigate behavioral challenges, and strengthen family systems. Whether it’s helping a child through worries and anxieties, guiding teens as they explore their identity, or supporting parents through conflict and transitions, I aim to create a safe space where every voice is heard and healing can take place. After all, we’re all naturally built to heal, even if sometimes we get a little stuck or veer off track.
On a personal note, I’ve parented three now-adult children, so I understand firsthand how rare it feels to truly thrive as a parent. Parenting often comes with uncertainty, moments of self-doubt, and the challenge of juggling so much with limited energy.
When I’m not working, you’ll likely find me out trout fishing on one of Alberta’s beautiful blue-ribbon rivers or exploring the mountains and great outdoors…activities that help me recharge and find balance.
