Camilla has a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from Simon Fraser University and brings over five years of experience working with adults, youth, and families. She is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors. In addition to counselling, Camilla has a background in child and youth care and autism assessment.
Camilla’s approach to counselling is curious, compassionate, and non-judgemental. Her goal is to guide individuals towards an increased awareness and understanding of their emotions, allowing them to develop a deeper and more positive connection to themselves and others in their life. Camilla believes that we all carry an incredible capacity for growth and change, and she is honoured to support individuals through this process.
Camilla welcomes individuals facing anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, life transitions, depression, low self-esteem, perfectionism, and trauma, in addition to anyone who is interested in personal growth. She uses evidence-based counselling approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindful Self-Compassion.
