PCDC (fat dissolving injections)

This treatment is a series of injections locally into subcutaneous fat to eliminate unwanted fat in areas such as chin, love handles, belly and arms. PCDC comes from a combination of phosphatidylcholine deoxycholic acid and lipodissolve also known as mesotherapy or lipolysis. Deoxycholic acids occur naturally in the body to aid is absorption of dietary fat. This treatment destroys unwanted fat cells. The medication destroys the cell membrane causing lysis when injected into the tissue. The cells absorb the medication, become temporarily inflamed, harden then are broken down and eliminated by the body naturally. Swelling occurs post treatment and the area will look "worse before better". Optimal results are achieved through a series of treatments spaced 6-8 weeks apart. The results are permanent and may vary.
