“Yesterday had an accident and my glasses got broken on both temples. Originally I took them to the place I had bought them from and was told the damage was beyond repair. On my way home I walked across ABASA and decided to try my luck. Raisa helped me right away with a huge smile and was so professional and optimistic!! “I’ve been going to Abasa Optical on Davie Street for thirty-five years. The staff has always been courteous, knowledgeable, and helpful. The store (old and new) has always been a welcoming environment that I’ve appreciated for not being overly cluttered nor focussed solely on selling products. The optometrists have conducted eye examinations thoroughly and have answered my questions about my vision and possible issues going forward as I age. The opticians have consistently asked about my preferences with regard to eyewear and have helped me find frames that worked well for me. As I’ve progressed from mono to duo to tri focal glasses, I’ve always felt that the information and assistance provided was focussed on my needs. I’ve always felt comfortable at Abasa Optical and have been confident that the information they’ve provided was in my best interest. Service has been consistently of the highest calibre regardless of with whom I’ve dealt. Though my visits are more frequent, as I age, I’ve always been recognised and welcomed. “Adam at Abasa Optical is an absolute legend. The vibes inside are awesome and welcoming, and he genuinely gives the best advice without any pressure. I went in to update my prescription lenses for my glasses and also picked up a few pairs of contact lenses.
