Most of this cosmetic acupuncture visit is spent lying still on your back while the practitioner works slowly and precisely with very fine needles placed across the face — often with some attention to scalp, neck or body points as well — and you leave having had a quieter, more appearance-focused session than an ordinary acupuncture appointment.
