The goal is not to sound more “feminine” or more “masculine” in a stereotypical way, but to develop a voice that is authentic, comfortable, and sustainable. - Individuals do not have to be undergoing hormone replacement therapy or have had vocal surgery - Voice training does not focus on only changing the pitch of the voice, but also other areas of voice/communication such as resonance, prosody, and non-verbal communication. - Training also focuses on vocal health and safe vocal techniques.
