“I went to see Dr. Manis yesterday. He's training a resident as well. Both had a wonderful, sympathic bedside manner. After a thorough discussion of my issue and related difficulties, Dr. Manis suggested a cortisone shot to the area (a minuscal sprain to my knee at age 70.) The resident (sorry! don't remember your name!) gave me the injection under Dr. Manis' guidance. Since the injection, which was pain free and included pain relief, I have been pain free. Slept like a baby for the first time on many months and continue to be pain free the next day. A miracle for me! (Any help from the shot has certainly already worn off and could not have helped with the injection itself.) Big thanks to the resident and Dr. Manis!!”Read moreShow less

“Toronto’s top athletes come here and once you’re in you’ll know why. The medical staff are highly intuitive and present their diagnosis in a manner almost anyone can understand regardless of knowledge base.”

“I saw Brittany and Jenna at this location and they are one of the best physios I have been to. They helped me getting back to my gym routine as I was struggling due to back and shoulder pain that was referencing to my chest at one point. Highly recommend this location and Brittany’s expertise.”Read moreShow less

“My experience with Dr. Borna Kavoosi was deeply disappointing. I have been living with severe knee pain for over two months while waiting for knee replacement surgery, and my ability to walk has significantly declined. Despite multiple attempts to seek help and follow-ups from my family physician, I did not receive a response or referral to alternative care. In Ontario, continuity of care, communication, and appropriate follow-up are important parts of professional medical responsibility, especially when a patient’s condition is worsening. My experience left me feeling unsupported during a period of severe pain, limited mobility, and one of the most difficult times in my life. Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend this offic.”Read moreShow less

“I went for a gait analysis with Sean Chiu and I had a great experience. He took the time to analyze my running form in depth and helped identify issues I hadn’t noticed before. He also tailored specific strength training exercises for me, which I’ve already found really useful. Sean was very friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough throughout the whole process. He’s also a very talented runner himself, which makes him especially great to work with if you’re a runner looking to improve performance or prevent injuries. Overall, an excellent physio that I would highly recommend to anyone dealing with running-related issues or looking to improve performance and prevent injuries.”Read moreShow less

“I highly recommend Sean Chiu, physiotherapist, for his expertise and care provided to me as I recovered from surgery to repair my broken knee. Using a walker and full leg brace, I hobbled into Athlete’s Care Sports Medicine (Yonge:King). I met Sean Chiu who immediately put me at ease. We worked together to set my goals and he recommended and continued to provide new exercises to challenge me and help me regain full range of motion and strengthen my leg. Working together for 2 months, I’m thrilled to share that I’m comfortably walking on my own, I’m restarting sporting activities and I’m getting back to my life. Thank you Sean!”Read moreShow less

“I highly recommend Dr. Tremayne. I had a tremendous pain in the shoulder. The first time I made an appointment with him, he immediately diagnosed that I had a frozen shoulder and took all necessary actions to help me. Dr. Tremayne is extremely knowledgeable, he really did a miracle for me with the injection on time and with accuracy and all follow ups. He is kind, supportive and you can tell he truly cares about his patients. I want to especially thank Amy, my physiotherapist, from the very first session, she took the time to understand my condition. Without her knowledge, support and help during our physiotherapy sessions the improvement of my conditions and my movements would never happen. I am absolutely satisfied by the treatment and care I received from Dr. Tremayne and Amy. Highly recommend!”Read moreShow less

“I’ve been having pain in my wrists and arm from computer and camera work. I can typically make it go away on my own but I exhausted everything my Dr and I could think of so she sent me to Dr Ho at Athlete’s Care Sports Medicine on King. The receptionists were friendly and helpful. Dr Ho sent me for X-rays and an ultrasound next door to see what was going on and was able to diagnose the issue. Since I am low income at the moment he was able to recommend a student clinic for physiotherapy which is only approximately $30 a visit (vs $100+ for private). I appreciate that the pain was taken seriously and that I’m on the way to a solution!! I’m adding pics for directions from the subway Line 1”Read moreShow less
