Pre-IV Iron Consutation - Telehealth

This appointment is conducted virtually. During your consultation, our Naturopathic Doctor will review your health history and lab results to determine whether iron infusions are appropriate for you and will discuss the benefits and risks of treatment. Please note: Recent blood work (within the past 3 months) is required before your first iron infusion. If available, please email your results to hello@aurorahealthclinic.ca prior to your appointment. If you do not have recent blood work, a requisition will be provided during your consultation. If IV iron is recommended, a prescription will be sent to your pharmacy. Once processed, we will coordinate delivery of the prescribed iron directly to Aurora Health Clinic in preparation for your infusion appointment. Consultation Fee: • $65.00 This fee is non-refundable and may be eligible for reimbursement through your extended health plan under naturopathic medicine benefits.

Cette première visite en naturopathie pour une thérapie IV se passe surtout assis ou allongé pendant qu’on passe en revue vos antécédents, vos objectifs et vos médicaments, puis qu’on prépare et surveille la perfusion; vous repartez avec un plan clair et les consignes à suivre.
