A pre-IV nutrition infusion therapy consultation is required prior to initiating IV infusions to ensure safety and clinical appropriateness. This visit includes a focused review of your medical history and current medications to confirm there are no contraindications. Lab work will also be reviewed at this visit. Lab work must have been completed by within the last 3 months. If a requisition is required, one will be provided to ensure timely delivery of IV treatment.
