To ensure the best results and minimize risks, please follow these guidelines before your session: • Avoid Sun Exposure – Keep the area covered and apply SPF 30+ daily for at least 4 weeks prior. Sunburned or tanned skin increases the risk of complications. • No Self-Tanners or Spray Tans – Avoid using these products on or near the treatment area for at least 2 weeks before your session. • Stay Hydrated – Drinking plenty of water before your treatment helps your body flush out the ink more efficiently. • Avoid Alcohol & Smoking – These can slow down the healing process. Try to limit or avoid them for at least 24-48 hours before and after treatment. • No Blood Thinners – Avoid aspirin, ibuprofen, and other blood-thinning medications or supplements (like fish oil, vitamin E) for 48 hours before treatment, unless prescribed by your doctor. • No Waxing, Peels, or Harsh Exfoliation – The treatment area should be free of irritation or skin trauma before your session. • Shave the Area if Needed – If the tattoo is in a hairy area, please shave it the night before your appointment to allow the laser to target the ink more effectively. • Wear Loose, Comfortable Clothing – Choose clothing that won’t rub against the treated area to avoid irritation after your session.
