I am very happy I went to Canoe. I felt very comfortable with my therapist and she was very helpful for me. I highly recommend visiting this clinic.

This place is so professional , the BCBA Sarah is amazing she always had great plans for my son ,and Katrina the Lead was so funny and had exciting ways of dealing with kids. We left this place just because of the traffic on the skyway and our work schedual. Thanks for everything.Read moreShow less

I highly recommend Canoe Therapy. My son has been thriving in school thanks to the support and help that he received from his occupational therapist, Kirsty Mae. She provided my son with useful strategies in the clinical setting that have been successfully applied in school and other environments. To date, he talks about how much he loved attending Canoe and seeing Kirsty! He attended her sessions for approximately a year and the skills he has gained have helped significantly shape him. Most recently, my daughter's journey at Canoe started with receiving support from her Speech Therapist, Bhumi Patel. She has significantly helped my daughter with her speech. My daughter loves Bhumi and the exercises Bhumi has prepared in each session have helped my daughter grow. The BCBA, Sarah Layzell is AMAZING along with her team including the Senior Therapist, Katrina Ward, Ashley Lepine, and Zuriya Butt. My daughter loves her entire team at Canoe Therapy. She runs into each session with excitement and is always happy to see each of her therapists. I am very thankful for all of your help and support. I love the home visits with the senior therapist, Katrina Ward every Wednesday. Katrina has significantly helped me learn crucial skills to supporting my daughter's communication, growth, and development. Words cannot express how thankful I am to your team. The ABA therapists are very passionate about what they do and it shows. Your child will thrive with the right support in place and I can assure you that Canoe Therapy is the BEST therapy centre. Quality really depends on the practitioner. The environment is very outdated. This doesn’t impact the level of service but gives you an idea about the company’s overall standards. Cancellations policy is brutal. My kid was sick the day of the appointment and we got charged 50%. This was the last straw for us to part ways.Read moreShow less

The staff, while polite on the surface, are otherwise unqualified to provide the services they offer. Despite months of weekly appointments my daughters speech has actively gotten worse as they not only don't know how to connect with children, but they use confusing, often times AI generated materials that just leave them confused and unable to process what they're being taught. The final straw however was when we tried to cancel an appointment, had it approved, and then was charged for it anyway. They have unfortunately been unwilling to even discuss fixes to the multiple problems they have caused.Read moreShow less

We’ve had such a wonderful experience at Canoe Therapy! Our 4-year-old has been seeing Jelena for speech therapy for about a year, and the progress has been incredible. When we first started, he would barely speak — and when he did, he was difficult to understand. Now, we can't get him to stop talking! His speech continues to improve and become clearer, which has also boosted his communication and social skills. The entire staff has been so warm and supportive throughout our journey. We came here in 2022. The main issue was electronics addiction. I was told to let my teens be in charge of electronics usage, that they know what the right thing to do is. This was followed by several days of constant use of electronics, into early morning and no sleep, until I've put in rules again. Of course, the main result was their resentment towards me and an opinion that I am abusing them because "the therapist said otherwise". I don't think we ever really recovered from this experience, not even after two years of additional therapy elsewhere. I find that the demand for therapists is high and some may not have the needed qualifications to deal with certian scenarios.Read moreShow less

We really appreciate the support we’ve been getting at Canoe. My child is seeing a psychotherapist and it’s made a big difference. School used to be a real struggle, but his therapist has helped a lot. We’re so thankful for the progress he’s made.
