Laser Hair Removal Test Patch A required safety test prior to initiating laser hair removal treatment for new clients. During this appointment, a small area will be treated using the appropriate laser settings for your skin type. This allows us to assess: • Skin response • Sensitivity • Pigment reaction • Optimal energy settings The Cynosure Elite iQ system allows us to safely treat a wide range of skin tones using customized technology based on your skin type and sun exposure. A test patch ensures safety, precision, and the best possible results before beginning your treatment series. Your full treatment may be scheduled 24–72 hours after your test patch if the skin response is appropriate.
