“Cedar Tree Dental offers the best dental care I have ever had. They are professional, courteous and friendly. My dentist , Dr. Watts, is a compassionate dentist who takes her work seriously and most importantly to me spends enough time making sure the anaesthetic is working to make for a pain free experience. She is honest, straightforward, approachable and an excellent dentist. My dental hygienist, Leanne, does an excellent job of maintaining my teeth, is very professional and makes my time in the chair seem less stressful due to her kind demeanour and friendly approach to her job. The office staff are very friendly, attentive and keep the office running smoothly. The office itself is very bright and cheerful and even has a lift for those with limited mobility. “One of the best dental visits I've had. The main reception area is very bright & roomy. Nice atmosphere. The procedure area is spacious bright & comfortable as well. Staff & Dr Watt made it extremely easy- I prolonged going for a check up because of the usual loud bright & smell that most offices have. My initial visit the suggestion of a couple cleans because I haven't been in for so long, then back to routine visits I highly recommend parking in back had spaces or side street parking- convenient location by Tim Hortons & Fairways A&W Thank you 😊”Read moreShow less

“I visited Cedar Tree Dental as a new patient after completing my Master's degree earlier this year. At the time, I requested no X-rays during the initial assessment due to financial constraints as I was broke after my education—truthfully, even if there was an issue, I wouldn’t have been able to afford any treatment. I asked for a physical examination only, knowing it would be more affordable, and I primarily wanted my teeth cleaned. However, the hygienist repeatedly insisted that I needed an X-ray, despite my clear explanation that I couldn’t afford it. This relentless pressure made the entire experience uncomfortable and left me feeling that my financial limitations were being disregarded. While I understand the importance of X-rays, I expected a bit more understanding and empathy from a healthcare provider. It didn’t feel like patient-centered care, which is the proposed cornerstone of any health practice. Furthermore, the hygienist didn’t even complete the cleaning during my appointment and asked me to schedule another visit for the same price to finish the job the following week. I question the integrity and efficiency of this dental clinic. Now that I’m in a better financial position, I’ve reflected on this experience and decided it’s not worth returning.
