We had a wonderful experience from start to finish with surgical releases of severe upper lip, bilateral cheek and tongue ties. The staff are so caring. Everything was explained very well. I have nothing but good things to say about Collaborative Care! However, as a rant to the government & private insurance, I just can't fathom why on earth these procedures aren't covered by MSP, and if not MSP then at least by medical insurance (Blue Cross). Families shouldn't need to have an excess of thousands of dollars to get their baby this medically necessary treatment for feeding and healthy development! The staff were helpful and filled out the insurance forms as best they could to help me get coverage, but it was denied on almost every point except a minimal amount for assessment. Thankfully we made it work, but how many families cannot and the babies suffer as a result?! It is so wrong.Read moreShow less

Wouldn’t trust anyone else with my 6 week old baby getting her tongue and lip release. Our amazing osteopath Shari discovered our little one’s posterior tongue tie and she had a significant lip tie as well. Shari recommended Dr Pada to help us as we had been severely struggling to breast feed. We are only 1.5 weeks post release and baby is finally latching and transferring milk. It’s a work in progress but we are already seeing such a big difference. Dr Pada is passionate and caring and took the time to explain everything in detail for us. She was very thorough when doing the releases, making sure it was done right. We had the babylase treatment prior and our baby was incredibly relaxed for the procedure and recovered quickly post releases. I was very impressed. We are very grateful for the whole team helping us on the journey.Read moreShow less

I had a great experience at CO2llaborative Care with Dr. Hilary Pada and her team. After years of seeing an array of specialists for chronic sinus congestion, digestive issues, hormonal irregularities, and more, I finally feel like I have found someone who can explain what has actually been wrong with me and help me address it. I have spent years visiting all sorts of specialists for a range of disparate health problems. Gastroenterologists could see that something was off with my digestion but could not explain why. ENT specialists could see that I was chronically congested but could not solve it. Endocrinologists could tell that my hormones were abnormal but could not identify the underlying cause. Each person saw one piece. Nobody was addressing the full structure. Looking back, many of my problems escalated after orthodontic treatment in adolescence narrowed my mouth and airway. I became a chronic mouth breather. I got sick all the time. I developed severe congestion, acne, and other systemic issues that affected my quality of life for years. I was diagnosed with allergies to all kinds of things and did allergy shots for five years, but they did not help because the issue was not simply allergies. I had two sinus surgeries to remove tissue and open the passages, but they also failed because the deeper problem was structural. Eventually I even had to give up my profession that required equalizing pressure changes and my congestion had become too severe. Altogether, I have spent >$100,000 USD on specialists, procedures, medications, and treatments that never really made me healthier. At Dr. Hillary Pada’s clinic, I finally got an explanation that accounted for the whole pattern. Using CBCT imaging and a structural, integrative approach, she was able to show me how severe oral restriction, a very small maxilla, and longstanding lingual dysfunction were affecting my breathing, digestion, oral health, voice, and overall regulation. I only wish my parents had found this kind of care when I was young. It would have prevented enormous suffering and expense. Dr. Pada fitted me with ALF appliances for both my upper and lower teeth and performed upper and lower lip tie releases. I also do myofunctional therapy to relearn how to swallow properly, where my tongue should rest, and how to breathe more consistently through my nose. The changes have been remarkable: better alignment, clearer and more resonant voice, easier breathing, better digestion, easier clearing of mucus, improved oral health, and a greater sense of ease and calm in my body. I am deeply grateful to Dr. Hilary Pada and her team. The clinic is sparkling clean, beautifully designed, and staffed by thoughtful professionals. For me, this care has been truly life-changing.Read moreShow less

Dr. Pada and her team are extremely kind, helpful, and professional. If you are aware of even the slightest possibility of your child or yourself having oral ties, I can’t encourage you enough to go have an assessment done by this clinic.

My daughter screamed most of the time she was awake. She barely slept and when she did it was in 20 min increments- up to 2 hours. Pediatrician, lactation nurse, and others had suggested her ties were not a problem. I’m so glad a booked despite their assessments. Within 2 weeks of her cheek and lip ties being done her head shape became more normal (see the flat on the right back side). In order to do the least invasive treatment we waited on the tongue tie but decided to do it after her issues continued. 2 weeks later, she no longer needed her reflux meds and was sleeping 3+ hours. It continued to get better from there. She is such a happy girl now. I also LOVED the mamalaze, I could not relax after months of no sleep and her distress. The mamalaze finally relaxed me and was worth every penny. Please note THIS PLACE HAS STAIRS so plan for that and I highly recommend bringing a support person for yourself because the surgery it tough on a mom heart.Read moreShow less

We had such a positive experience getting our son’s lip and tongue ties released . The assessment was thorough and clear, the intervention was the least invasive possible to meet our objectives, and the process (though difficult with a 15 month old - I think he hated being swaddled more than anything!) was calm, efficient, and trauma informed. He fed right away after the procedure, and healed beautifully. He never displayed any discomfort post procedure (except with stretching!). While the follow up stretches were challenging, we have been so happy with the results. His tongue can now suction to the roof of his mouth, and the frequency of closed mouth posture is increasing over time. His latch, overnight congestion, snoring, and noisy breathing at night have all improved. Having tried many conservative measures prior to meeting with Dr. Pada and her team, we truly knew we were in the best hands by the time we made the decision to do the release. They also accommodated us traveling from out of town, which was so appreciated. They were definitely worth traveling for!Read moreShow less

So far, I’m very happy with my results (1 week with ALF appliances) and with the professionalism of Dr. Pada’s team. Immediately after wearing the ALF for the first time, I noticed improvements in my vision, breathing, tongue mobility, and posture. From the start, Dr. Pada was very diligent in analyzing my scans and photos, clearly explaining my situation and plan of action. Her entire team has been professional, organized, and caring throughout the process. I personally know four other patients currently under Dr. Pada’s care, all very happy with their results as well. I also appreciate that the treatment is holistic — not just wearing appliances, but also doing at-home exercises to improve breathing, swallowing, and tongue mobility. Highly recommend!Read moreShow less

I’m so grateful my osteopath recommended Dr. Prada and her incredible team! From the moment we walked in, I could feel the care, presence, and genuine love they have for their work. You can tell they’re not just here to “do a job” — they’re here because they truly care about the wellness of the families they support. The whole team is amazing… patient, kind, and so gentle with little ones. Both my boys — my infant and my 4-year-old — had oral releases during our visits, and the difference afterward was incredible. My baby feels like a brand-new baby — so much happier, with noticeably fewer colic symptoms. I can actually put him down now and he’s content, calm, and seems so much more comfortable in his little body. I’m beyond thankful for the safe, nurturing environment they’ve created. It’s such a gift to find practitioners who honor the body’s natural rhythm and healing capacity. I’m excited to continue my eldest’s care with the myofascial work and to keep supporting both my boys’ growth and alignment as they develop.Read moreShow less

I am so grateful that we took my son here! I wish I had known about Collaborative Care sooner. His lip tie was so thick that his front teeth were growing in slanted. His thick tongue tie was causing his palette to concave in because his tongue could never sit at the top of his mouth. He always breathed through his mouth which creates a collective of other issues. All the staff were very professional and explained everything to me thoroughly. Yes the procedure was tough, it was quick, but I know that we did the best thing for our son. Strongly recommend you read ALL resources they tell you to so that you are prepared for the procedure and recovery.Read moreShow less
