External and intraoral techniques may be used to address jaw-related muscle tension. Intraoral treatment is not required for effective TMDJ treatment but may be incorporated for more advanced care. All intraoral work is optional and performed using medical-grade gloves. This appointment is for someone who has had a c-section and is looking for support in healing after your cesarean. This 30 minute appointment is for the scar/abdomen. If you would like an appointment with more time allotted for treating other areas in addition to your abdomen & c-section scar please choose the 45 or 60 minute option. If you have not been officially approved from ICBC for massage therapy by our office by the time of your appointment, we will charge you the regular private rate for that appointment. This treatment is done on a mat on the floor, patient clothed, therapist applying pressure with their foot, using a chair or walker to control pressure levels. Wear comfortable clothing such as yoga or light exercise wear (avoid slippery shirts, jeans, large back pockets).

This treatment is focused on prenatal and pregnancy care. A pregnancy pillow is provided so that you may safely lay face down during treatment.
