“I went in for a test to get reading glasses. Paid $60 and was told to pay another $560. This was way above my budget. Left with no glasses, no follow up, and a resentment for maltreatment. Went to Shoppers and got a pair for $20.”

“After Dr. Wallace recommended I have the dry eye treatment with Noelle, after 3 months, I just realized I can’t remember the last time my eyes had the burning itchy feeling. I am very happy with my results. I also had Kiran help me pick out two sets of glasses and I am very happy with both sets. Kiran picked out many different frames for me to try and I never felt rushed. I highly recommend Dr. Wallace and his team at Family Eyecare Centre”Read moreShow less

“I'm disappointed when my daughter's $300 eyeglass frames got rusty around the nose pads and turned green. I want to get a better pair next time probably from somewhere else. “Woke up with a red and watery left eye while on vacation in Victoria, found them on google maps. They were able to get me in pretty quickly within an hour and the front desk staff are so polite and lovely. Dr. Judith LeRoy saw me and she’s so caring and kind, checked my eye thoroughly and explained everything to me clearly. Highly recommend in you are looking for an optometrist!!!”Read moreShow less

“Bought scleral lenses for $1,800. When fitted after about a month I went back because it felt Like my eyeball was being squeezed. Dr. Leroy Got a new lens And it seems okay But they charged me $45 for the visit. I paid it but called back and said isn't the fitting part of the initial charge? They said someone would call me back and they did But they were misinformed thinking I was complaining because I paid twice for the entire lenses. She hung up. I called back later and was told they would get back to me. They never did. I called again and they said they would talk to Dr. Leroy and get back to me. They never did. To add insult, they told me that the little rubber plunger would cost about $6 extra. Without that you can't take the lens out. I GOT A GOOD RESPONSE. For Some reason they tell me that 2 voice messages were left for me which I never got. Also in their email they advised me that I had 2 appointments and they waived the fee for 1 of them so it covers the one I was asking about. Not sure why they couldn't have explained this earlier but got it now directly from the optometrist. Maybe something gets lost with the staff? It is incomprehensible to me that they left 2 messages but she sure did a great job of explaining.”Read moreShow less

“I was so impressed with Dr.Wallace and his amazing staff member Noelle at Family Eyecare on Yates Street this week. Highly professional staff, very welcoming team, the clinic and equipment was extremely clean, clinical staff perform frequent hand hygiene 🙌 and everything was clearly very well run and very efficient. I felt listened too and was given treatment options and came away with a personalized dry eye treatment plan that I am very happy with. I am so glad that I found Dr.Wallace particularly having had a recent not-so-great experience at another clinic in the City.
