Most of this hot stone massage hour is spent lying still while the therapist places smooth heated stones along your body and uses them in slow, gliding strokes — with less deep tissue work than an ordinary massage — and you leave having had a quieter, warmth-focused session.

30 minHot Stone follows the same principles of Swedish massage, with proven healing effects that have been documented since ancient times. Heated stones placed on the body warm up the muscles and lead to deep relaxation. Which leads to relief of pain and soreness, reduces stress, better sleep, improved immunity, and muscle relaxation without pressure. Does it hurt? It does not. The stones are not heavy, warmed only to a comfortable temperature. If preferred, a sheet can be placed between the body and stones versus being placed on the skin.
