The initial assessment will involve the physiotherapist taking a relevant history and performing a physical examination specific to the patient’s complaint. Treatment will include hands-on techniques, education about the diagnosis, and exercises tailored to each individual. Hands-on treatment techniques are performed with the patient fully clothed, with specific areas of the body contacted through their clothing.
