Practicum Student Short Child/Youth Progress Parent Session (In-Person)
Session with parent to discuss progress on goals, observations, and plan moving forward. Option to have parent and child in this session together to be determined between parent, child and counsellor. As this counsellor is a student, sessions will be video recorded and reviewed in part (sometimes in whole) by his supervisor. They are confidential, not shared beyond the supervisor, and destroyed after one week. If you have any questions or concerns prior to giving written consent to this, we are happy to answer them.

A child and youth counselling follow-up is a quieter, more flexible hour — you and the counsellor check what’s changed since last time, talk through what’s coming up, and spend the rest of the session on age-appropriate conversation, play, drawing, or coping practice before you leave with a clear next step.
