What to Expect During Your Colonic; Before beginning your 45-minute session, your certified practitioner will ask you to empty your bladder, and a pair of disposable shorts will be provided to ensure your comfort and privacy throughout your session. You will then lie on a comfortable, warm, crystal-padded table. If mutually agreed upon, a gentle abdominal (colon) massage may be performed to help relax the area and identify any areas of tension, gas, or stool. Next, you will be asked to turn onto your side so a single-use, disposable speculum can be gently inserted. Once in place, triple-filtered, temperature-controlled water will slowly flow into the colon. As your body adjusts to the sensation of water flowing inward, you may experience mild pressure or fullness. This is normal and part of the natural cleansing process as waste matter is softened and released. You will then be gently guided to slowly turn onto your back so the session can continue. The water pressure and temperature are carefully regulated throughout the treatment to maintain comfort. While some sensations may feel unfamiliar, the session should not be painful. At the end of the session, you will be asked to turn back onto your side so the water flow can be stopped and the speculum gently removed. You will then be free to use the washroom. Once you have completed your first session, this will give the practitioner a clearer picture of your digestive health, the practitioner will help you decide how many sessions you will need moving forward to help achieve your goals and improve your health.
