I had a great experience. Takao is a really special person. He helped relieve pain from lower back injury using a variety of techniques. He is funny and calm and caring and very knowledgeable.

Te.a.te is amazing. It was the first time I have ever gone to acupuncture and the entire experience exceeded expectations. Firstly, I was terrified, I am scared of needles. My acupuncturist, Alexandra Katsumi, has a fantastic bedside manner and made me feel really comfortable. I think I conquered a fear in there. Secondly, I was impressed by how effective it was. I went in for tendonitis, which has made even walking difficult for almost two months - as an athletic person, I was at my wits end; ready to try anything. Two days after treatment I was running again, and less than a week later I'm having to hold myself back because it doesn't hurt at all and I don't want go overboard and wind up back at square one. I thought I'd need several treatments to feel any change and this has been nothing short of a miracle. Finally, some housekeeping notes: Te.a.te is clean, easy to find, has nearby parking and facilities if needed. The staff is kind, professional, and knows what they are doing. I felt safe, hygienic, and like I was in a medical setting. While they don't have a waiting room, there is a chair to sit out front. They do direct billing to insurance. Shiatsu and acupuncture: Hiroshi for acupuncture and Takao for the combination Both practitioners were wonderful! It was my first time with acupuncture and Takao walked me through the whole procedure, which had minimal discomfort and overall felt very invigorating afterwards; the shiatsu massage did wonders for my muscle tension. I have a high pain tolerance and very stubborn muscle tension combined with some nerve injury issues and Takao is one of the very few who massaged 'hard' enough (and accurately).Lire la suiteRéduire

Great clinic and highly skilled staff. The owner is very passionate about his profession and takes care of his patients very well. I've been coming here for over 5 years (before they moved locations to Denman). Every treatment is custom tailored to your needs or injury.. I’ve been seeing Takao for more than 10 years. The shiatsu is the best! Whenever I have a problem I come out feeling so much better. Woah is all I have to say! I been to many massage places before... Thai massage and regular deep tissue places but this Shiatsu tops them all by 100percent! Did the hour for 70$ which is a great price... I workout lots with weights so had tons of tension on upper and lower body and I left feeling like a new person.. all the tension is gone.. will be coming back to this place over and over... highly highly recommend!!!!Lire la suiteRéduire
