My last visit there. They put a TENS machine on my back, covered it with a warming blanket, and left me for 15 mins came back, demonstrated exercises I should do then showed me the door. $90 and 25 minutes.

Left in more pain than I arrived. Visiting from out of province, I am a very active and healthy individual, suffering from piriformis syndrome and acute sciatic pain. I am a Health Care Professional and was a Nurse educator for years....this person did not demonstrate the required skills and knowledge. Painful experience.Read moreShow less

Hurt my back at work and they helped me recover from the injury and relieve the pain. Very kind and courteous and took the time to answer all my questions and made me feel comfortable and included in the process. Very helpful with providing an at home exercise routine. Have recommended to friends at work to visit and will continue to do so.Read moreShow less

On Tuesday night I injured my knee and was barely able to walk on it. There was a lot of swelling and I couldn’t put any weight on it. I went to see the physio, Shifali Gupta, the next morning and I don’t know how but I walked out of there walking so much better and in a lot less discomfort. Never have I ever seen such an immediate positive change following any medical appointment. It’s been two days since that appointment and I’m almost back to normal. I cannot recommend Shifali Gupta enough!Read moreShow less

At the end of April 2022, I had a fall that was so hard, it caused me to chip a tooth, without hitting my head. I had headaches the following week, but was also very busy at work. Then, one morning, I woke up with vertigo. It was like someone spinning you around on a tire swing that you can’t get off of. I ended up at the ER and was diagnosed with BPV (vertigo) and after a second trip to the ER and a referral to a neurologist, it turned out I also had post concussion syndrome. I needed to find a physiotherapist clinic that I could walk to who had someone who was able to perform the Epley maneuver. That’s how I found Healthglobal on Leslie St . I was specifically looking for a physiotherapist, but their physiotherapist was fully booked, so I started seeing Dr. Tony, their chiropractor, who was well versed in the Epley maneuver. Dr. Tony was excellent. He was able to perform the maneuver and teach it to me, so I could do it at home. He also had me purchase a lacrosse ball and showed me how to reduce my neck pain And worked with me on breathing techniques and exercises that I found extremely helpful. I love at home techniques. I find that they usually come from people who really want to see you get better. Shortly after I started my therapy with Dr. Tony, he went on vacation and Urvashi (the physiotherapist) made room in her calendar for me. She is fantastic. When I started seeing her, I still couldn’t look up without getting dizzy, I had constant headaches and extreme neck pain. I was a mess and she had her job cut out for her. Urvashi is an incredible listener. She worked with me on my stress, breathing, posture and eye movements. She uses a TENS machine, performs acupuncture and has hands that can find and relieve stress. She is also versed in shockwave therapy for stubborn knots that you’ve had for years! I used to enter the clinic with a headache and fog and leave feeling much more clear. It was the only time my headaches would leave. I carried a lot of the tension and knots that I had in my neck, shoulders and back and they were not just from my concussion and vertigo, but from years of untreated stress. I used to do massages once a month, but it was temporary relief. My body needed a good tuning and reset. I still have post concussion syndrome (5 months later) and I’m still seeing Urvashi, but we moved from two days a week, to one day a week, to every ten days. She will be a part of my health team for as long as she is a practising physiotherapist. I have never met someone who is so caring, kind, smart and dedicated. Someone who listens, advises, teaches, coaches, supports and cheers you on. The team at Healthglobal is excellent and I highly recommend them, especially Urvashi! I can drive, read books and look up without dizziness and I have many tools to manage my headaches and neck pain. I always thought physiotherapists were for sport injuries. I didn’t realize how much they can help with a brain injury and stress. Thank you Urvashi and Healthglobal. You’ve played a tremendous role in my recovery thus far and I look forward to being 100% with your continued help and support!Read moreShow less

At the beginning I was diagnosed with a lagiment issue but then upon receiving my ultrasound the diagnosis changed but treatment somehow stayed the same. At first the physiotherapist was attentive but after a few treatments I realized she took 2 clients at a time. She would hook me up to a machine which you can get from Amazon for $50 and leave me alone for 20 mins whilr she took care of another patient. Then she gave me a 5 minute massage and said it is done and charged me $75. Not to mention they made me wait 30 mins for a 25 min appointment. Overall, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! Lastly the entire time they tried to sell me a $400 knee brace. This hurt my process as I walked around without a brace where I could have bought a good brace for $20 on Amazon. This place is not for healing but all about making money.Read moreShow less

Had a wonderful experience here. Dr.Farhad is the one who treaded my knee issue. I was very skeptical about his diagnosis to begin with as he was the 4th doctor that I was visiting as the previous 3 doctors were unable to diagnose me correctly. I decided to keep an open mind nevertheless and followed his exercises diligently. Within 3 weeks and 2 sessions, I could feel the difference and my knee is much better now. Highly recommend Dr.Farhad here.Read moreShow less

My first experience with physiotherapy was with Sandeep Kaur and she was amazing. She made me feel very comfortable with her kind demeanor and attentiveness. Sandeep listened compassionately to my concerns and explained her process as she applied them in terms I could easily understand. After just one visit the improvement of my mobility was drastic. I will be a repeat client of Sandeep as her professionalism, mannerisms and knowledge was top notch.Read moreShow less

I had been suffering for a couple of months with shoulder bursitis. I'd tried doing online exercises, natural cures and a few gallons of Voltaren. After just 2 sessions with Dr Gurvey, and targeted exercises, my pain level is down dramatically and mobility has improved. Everyone; from Dr. Gurvey, the staff and the owner Drew, we're very pleasant to deal with. Covid measures were fully respected.Read moreShow less
