VIRTUAL CHILD & YOUTH Counselling Session With a Registered Social Worker (RSW)
Please book this virtual session if you are a new counselling client BETWEEN the ages of 7 and 15.
Special care is required for the mental health care of children and adolescents; this session provides time to ask any questions you or your parent(s) may have.
During this initial session we will discuss background information, current areas of concern and develop a treatment plan that will inform our work in follow up sessions.
If the parents of the client are separated or divorced and custody is shared or a joint agreement is in place, WRITTEN consent from both parents is required by the initial session. We will email a second consent form to be completed by the initial appointment.
Insurance plans can vary significantly.
Please ensure that the Counsellor you are booked with has a professional designation that your insurance plan will cover BEFORE your visit.
Treatment fees are the responsibility of the client, not the insurance company or HealthWorks. Payment of uninsured or declined sessions are the responsibility of the client.
To make your counselling session as effective as possible, approximately 5 minutes of your counselling appointment will be devoted to prep and documentation.
