Hand Reflexology

Hand reflexology works on the same premise as foot reflexology, but uses pressure points on the hands instead. This treatment is an alternate form of reflexology that also promotes stress relief, improved circulation and decreased muscle tension. Note: Reflexology is a wellness therapy, not a cure for serious complaints or conditions. It can help reduce some symptoms and pain. It is not recommended for those with the following conditions: blood clots, diarrhea, fever, open wounds or skin infections. Pressure points on the hands refer to specific areas of the body. When pressed, it stimulates particular nerve endings and activate energy pathways. According to Traditional Chinese Medicine, these points are linked to various organs and systems within the body.
