This appointment includes a comprehensive lower limb and biomechanical assessment to determine whether custom foot orthotics are clinically appropriate. The evaluation may include medical history review, postural assessment, joint and muscle testing, and analysis of gait and foot mechanics. If indicated, a physical casting method will be performed to capture the structural alignment of the feet for fabrication of custom made orthotics. Footwear will also be reviewed and treatment goals discussed.
