What it is
Prenatal massage is for pregnancy, and most of the hour is spent side-lying or supported with pillows while the therapist works more slowly through your back, hips, legs and shoulders — adjusting pressure, avoiding some positions and techniques — and you leave having had bodywork shaped around a pregnant body.
Usually booked for
- Aching hips, back or shoulders in pregnancy
- Wanting massage that accommodates a changing body
- Needing a more supported, side-lying session
