“After reading multiple reviews of other people having the same experience the past 6ish months, I feel it is my duty to also come forward so something can be done about this. I was taken into my massage room 10 minutes late and once naked and laying down, I waited another 6 minutes. My 12:30-1:30pm massage was actually 12:46-1:30pm which was not the full 60 minute that I paid for. The amount of oil used was astronomically excessive. My leather car seats are stained/slimy from the oil and I had to shower immediately when I got home because my skin and hair looked so greasy. I used a fast food napkin from my glovebox to wipe myself off after and it looked wet from a quick swipe of my arm. The RMT wore latex gloves to do the massage which I thought wad odd as I have never seen that before throughout the years of getting massages. I had some errands to do after and felt so uncomfortable being so oily in public - It looked as if I hadn’t showered or washed my hair in weeks. The massage was not a massage - it was simply her rubbing oil into my skin repetitively in an extremely fast pace. My muscles were not touched, it was simply my skin being rubbed with oil. She did some weird slapping on my back and rubbed the bottom of my feet and my thumb too despite me saying my only concerns were my back and calves (as I am pregnant and uncomfortable). Even though it was a prenatal massage there were no pregnancy pillows or anything to properly support my belly like other places have - I was directed to lay flat on my stomach. She also touched all over my face and scalp with the oil which was upsetting as I struggled with acne in the past and feel it is going to flare up now. She played with my eyebrows and rubbed my cheeks, which was very unsettling. She also scratched my scalp very lightly. Again, I cannot stress enough how I did not receive a massage but simply had someone play with oil all over my body and rub it in ever so lightly. Overall, I was more anxious and uncomfortable afterwards than when I went in which is NOT normal for a massage. I didn’t speak up at the end as I felt so uncomfortable and anxious and just needed to get out of there. Most importantly, I feel your business needs to do something as I know myself and my family/friends will not be returning to your business and the countless negative reviews about this RMT is concerning. Each one mentions the same thing - her lateness, laziness and not providing a true massage. I am really upset. If management doesn’t listen to clients when issues arise, their business is going to suffer.”Read moreShow less

“I booked 2 prenatal massages here, each one week apart, both with Kaitlyn. The clinic called me the morning of BOTH MASSAGES telling me that Kaitlyn had called in sick for the first, and then that she hurt her hand for the second. Obviously this speaks more to the therapist than the clinic overall, and the clinic did offer to reschedule my appointments for a different time that day, however I couldn't make a different time work. It would have been appreciated if they had offered me a different therapist at the same time as my original appointment, but that option was not given to me. I also see a review from 5 months ago stating the exact same issue with the same therapist, so the fact the clinic has chosen to keep that therapist on staff speaks volumes about the level of care they have for their clients. I won't be attempting a third appointment.”Read moreShow less

“Personally, I had the worst massage experience I've ever had with Suja. I have had many RMT massages over the years, and this session felt very repetitive. The same forearm circular motion was used on almost every area, with little variation or targeted work. Unfortunately, much of the treatment felt more like rubbing than therapeutic massage. I left disappointed and would not book with this therapist again.”Read moreShow less

“Suja used such relaxing techniques. I also love her approach to massages. Alot of massage therapists prefer the "no pain no gain" approach but suja acknowledges that too much pressure can cause the body to tense up and won't absorb the massage properly Also loved the availability Some places r so booked up u can't find drop in appointments”Read moreShow less

“Called and booked an appointment over the phone yesterday at 11:40am for the next day today at 8:45am, confirmed the massage therapist, confirmed the time and was assured my appointment was booked. Woke up today to attend my appointment and was told by the receptionist someone else has my appointment time! What a complete waste of my time! Will not be rebooking!”Read moreShow less

“This was my first time ever getting a massage. The woman at the front desk was lovely. She was super sweet and kind. She made sure I was hydrated and I felt comfortable. As for the actual massage, I found it underwhelming. Suja was my therapist and our session felt rushed. Additionally, I told her my main spots of tension were my shoulders and my lower back, but I emphasize that my jaw muscles needed some work as I have soreness. She gave me a full body massage, which felt like it had really light pressure. I didn’t really feel much, but she didn’t even touch my jaw muscles. I found that kind of odd because she asked where she should focus on and then did only two of the three. The place itself is cozy and welcoming, I just didn’t love my therapist.”Read moreShow less

“I booked time off work for an appointment and they cancelled the day of. If I was the one who cancelled, I would have been charged. Yet they offer no credit when they are the ones who cancel with less than 24 hours notice. Thus is my third time getting a massage with Suja and she always comes into the room late. It wouldn’t take over 10 minutes for someone to undress. She also ends the massage before the full hour is up. So you are basically paying for an hour but actually having about a 40-45 minute massage.”Read moreShow less
