Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that will bring calm and peace into one’s life. It promotes physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual healing. The client can either be sitting or laying down and the Practitioner places their hands on their body or above their body depending on their preference. Life force energy flows through the Practitioner’s hands and targets the areas in the client that require the most healing in that moment. Reiki works to reduce daily stress by releasing energetic blocks and removing toxins and imbalances from the body. In turn, the body’s own healing abilities are activated. The benefits of Reiki are endless. These include increased mental clarity, balanced mood, and physical healing. The Reiki energy will complement and may in fact enhance the benefits of any other treatments, protocols, or practices that you are currently following.
