“Dr.Roger Gafur is the goat, identified the issue gave me great medication which gave me instant relief and took me in exactly at my appointment time. The clinic is amazing wonderful front staff and state of the art equipment. Thank you to all!”

“I am unable to use progressive lens. I recently engaged with Mount Pleasant Optometry to acquire two pairs of corrective bifocals for astigmatism and blurry vision caused by dry eye disease. I had several anomalies to address in the process and I would like to commend Dispensing Technician Stephen in particular for his competence, patience and good will in what turned out to be a rather protracted endeavour. Over the course of evolving diagnoses, multiple visits and considerable ‘technical’ discussion, he never wavered in his determination to have a satisfied customer. He addressed emerging problems with rational, refreshingly honest dialogue and lived up to his promises. Significantly, management supported his approach and also honoured his commitments where other stores might have fudged. If you would appreciate ocular service where ‘do the right thing’ seems to prevail, I would recommend Stephen and Mount Pleasant Optometry.”Read moreShow less

“The staff here go above and beyond — they’re so nice! Charissa fixed my glasses even though I didn’t buy them there. She helped me find a verrrry specific type of frame and helped me choose the best options. I’m so chuffed with my new sunnies. Also, one of the people at reception helped me when everyone else was in a meeting (and I never got her name!) and she was great and didn’t need to help me look for these verrry specific frames but she did and it was awesome. “The team at Mt. Pleasant were super accommodating with my schedule and performed my eye exam very well. Azar was especially a huge help in replacing the lenses of my new glasses and ensuring they sat on my face properly. 10/10!”

“I found the place comfortable, clean and professional. The desk team is very welcoming and polite. Also the pre assessment team was very helpful. The three stars come because I had appointment with Dr. Evelyn Lo. And out of the 55 min length of the entire appointment she spend 5 at the most with me. I did not feel heard by her and did not gave me a real solution or explanation of my situation. The intern spend more time with me and was more empathetic and I felt listened by her. After Dr. Lo left the office the staff at the desk were the ones who explained me the next steps and my treatment.”Read moreShow less

“March 23/2026 Today my old driving /reading glasses had fallen apart. So decided to go directly to Mount Pleasant and see if can fix or need to get new ones. Had the pleasure of having Charissa Moyen help me today. What a wonderful helpfull lady . She was able to fix my glasses. Yeah that was great I also mentioned I am due for a check up soon with my optometrist here ; not sure of date. While she worked on repairing my glasses went front desk and booked my exam. Thank You Charissa and for the other staff at front desk for assistance so appreciated it. Thank you!
