Prior to treatment of laser hair removal, you must avoid tanning, plucking, waxing, bleaching the hair for 4-6 weeks. Preserving the route and the pigment of the hair, it's imperative for the success of the laser treatment. It's important to shave the area to be treated 24 hours before your appointment. The day of treatment, avoid makeup, oils, lotions, creams, deodorant, and perfumes on the area to be treated. Clean the treated area before your session. Inform the laser technician if you are pregnant, have braces or metal pieces in your body, have had recent Botox and fillers, taking certain medications (such as retinol and acutane), have open wounds, genital herpes, recent surgery, recent microneedling, recent chemical peel, eczema, psoriasis, vitiligo, if you are prone to cold sores, have epilepsy and/or if you are diabetic and taking insulin.
