“Unfortunately, my experience with Niche Eyeglasses was disappointing. While their frames are undeniably expensive, the real issue was the poor fit of both pairs I purchased. I had to return multiple times—first because I could only see clearly if I looked through the lenses off-center, and then for one pair that, despite half a dozen adjustments, never fit properly. For the price, I expected far better quality and service. I wouldn’t recommend them. @Niche I since changed my surname. My review is 100% authentic.”Read moreShow less

“Please Note: Unexpected charges and poor customer care. Will not return $100! I went in on Friday and was looking for a pair of frames to buy before the end of year. The collection was nice, everyone working there was nice BUT I was interested in these pair of glasses which weren’t on sale so I was unsure and wanted to look for more options and come back. They asked to put a deposit in to hold on to that pair for me. Within the hour, I chose not to purchase those glasses I first liked at Niche and called to inform them immediately. To my surprise they had only told me AFTER that the deposit is non-refundable and my money could not be returned! With family who work in optometry, a completely non-refundable deposit was a first for me and had it been communicated to me EARLIER, I wouldn’t have put my deposit in. After explaining my situation to Valerie, I was met with no sympathies and told I was completely in the wrong for asking for my deposit back. She would then hang up the call stating the store was busy and that she would call back shortly, to which I never heard from her again. For this I cannot recommend Niche, as this unprofessionalism and lack of customer care really soured my experience.”Read moreShow less

“Before I spent more than $3200.00 on 2 pairs of glasses, I checked the reviews and they seemed to be good. Unfortunately, the experience I had was far from good.... The old girl, it's not very pleasant. Also the girl with the accent is very rude... I have a problem with both frames, on both of the glasses. Two different employees put the onus on me and made me feel very unwelcome.... The screw came undone on one set of frames, and the nose piece was damaged on the other one....in all honesty, I know how to look after glasses I've been wearing them for for several years....both employees accused me of miss handling my own glasses.... On top. Of the $3200.00, I paid for them.. . to replace the screw on one frame and the nose piece on the other....I find that very odd, for them to be that hard up after charging so much money for the glasses.... After those negative interactions. I don't want to do business with them anymore. The nose piece keeps falling off of one pair that they repaired....the other pair of glasses, one side of the nose piece fell off.... I'm not gonna bother going back to get it repaired....only to listen to those negative nancy's all over again.....the quality of the frames are very poor....I've paid a lot less for a lot better quality at their competitors”Read moreShow less

“I bought glasses a couple months ago when I was in town on vacation from Ontario. I often have trouble finding nice frames - high myopia and a narrow face but at Niche the selection of frames was really special for all face shapes. Valerie is an excellent optician and gave me the best advice on selecting lenses and frames. Had no idea how great transition lenses could be. I love my frames and my lenses. “First time eyeglass buyer (at Niche), lifelong eyeglass wearer. The service I received at Niche was top-notch! Fantastic attention to detail, unhurried service, great advice on frame color and construction choices. Will definitely be back. OK- update. I picked up my new progressive lens glasses and tried them for two weeks. It was apparent that something wasn't right, so I went back to Niche to check in and - to be honest - I was expecting a fight. I could not have been more wrong!! “I just got a pair of glasses at Niche and had a really great experience. Valerie is really knowledgeable and she has a great selection of small frames for smaller adult faces, which is usually really hard to find.
