This 90-minute ritual includes the Ayurvedic reflexology therapy (see description below) with the addition of a herbal foot soak, mentholated foot scrub and a refreshing peppermint mask. As well as a hand exfoliation and massage. Reflexology is a manual therapy in which the therapist uses their hands and fingers to stimulate certain points on the feet. At times, a reflexology tool may be used to add to the effectiveness of the therapy. There are over 7,200 nerve endings located on your feet that correspond to your body’s glands, organs and systems. By stimulating the reflex points on the feet, issues such as stress, migraines, breathing and digestive problems are relieved. It boosts circulation and is a beneficial therapy for diabetics. It has been proven to help restore hormone balance in the body; thus assisting with PMS and menopause. At the end of the ritual the feet are massaged with warmed herbal oil and kansu bowls. The kansu bowls are an Ayurvedic tool aimed to help remove toxins and acidity from the body in an effort to bring balance and alkalinity, which in turn promotes a healthy organism. The bowls consist of 5 metals; copper, zinc, gold, silver and tin.
