“Very bad ; they don’t follow the government dental plan ; charge a child under 18 for the exam and full price for X-ray and don’t tell you before the service and they are very expensive ;, For low income family avoid them ; 👎”

“I have been going to Dr. Ueda for several years now and am 100% satisfied with the work I have had done. Dr. Ueda has been great at helping me discern what dental issue are more urgent to address and which ones can safely be delayed. This has helped with budgeting for bigger procedures such as bridges. I have also been very happy with the Dental Hygiene appointments, especially with Olympia. She is skilled but not too aggressive. The reception staff have always been very friendly and respectful. My elderly parents also attend the practice and I have been very impressed with the way they have been treated also.”Read moreShow less

“I found Dr Gagner to be incredibly patient, kind and persistent in resolving my issue without additional cost to me, which was so appreciated. I have experienced previous medical trauma abroad, but I felt completely safe in his hands (which says a lot). The other staff were also friendly and compassionate. “I have been a patient of Dr. McElroy at the Oak Bay Dental Centre on and off since 2015. The first time I saw Dr. McElroy, I had just returned to Canada from a lengthy stay abroad, where I had a traumatizing experience with a root canal, and needed a crown. At that time, I received exceptionally good dental care. After that, I moved around, spent time in Australia and returned to Victoria to stay. I recently had an appointment with Dr. McElroy, and was pleased to see that his clinic, located on a quiet street in Oak Bay, a stone's throw from the Oak Bay Marina, still operates in the same stellar manner. It is a pleasant, welcoming, tastefully done place. Shannon at reception and his assistant are competent, efficient and friendly professionals. “My neighbour recommended Dr McElroy. It’s hard to find a dentist to trust who is not all about cosmetics these days. I was lucky to get in for an ‘urgency’. I loved the location, the place, the staff and the experience. Dr McElroy is willing to talk in reasonable detail and is not rushed, and is also not rushed to commit to a procedure.
