Concussion may result from direct impact, blow to the head or body that produces sudden rotational or shear forces transmitted to the brain. Neurological function may be affected due to axonal damage and symptoms can vary from patient to patient. We provide a thorough examination of the visual, vestibular, balance and cognitive systems as well the cervical spine (whiplash is a common contributor to symptoms).
