Maintenance treatment should be done every 6 months after the initial treatment. This treatment consist of injecting PRP into the scalp. To obtain PRP, it is a three step approach. First, blood is drawn for you. Second, the whole blood is placed in a centrifuge machine in order to separate and concentrate the platelets within the plasma. Finally, the PRP is drawn out of the tube and injected in the affected area.
