Prenatal massage is for pregnancy, and most of the hour is spent side-lying or supported with pillows while the therapist works more slowly through your back, hips, legs and shoulders — adjusting pressure, avoiding some positions and techniques — and you leave having had bodywork shaped around a pregnant body.

60 minBefore treatment begins we will discuss your goals for the treatment and make sure you feel comfortable with lying on the table. We offer a special body cushion that allows pregnant people lie face down safely and comfortably. The cushions adjust to accommodate all different bodies and stages of pregnancy. We use manual techniques combined with in-depth knowledge of prenatal anatomy and physiology to bring about pain relief, balancing of the pelvic structure to encourage proper positioning for baby's birth and lymphatic drainage to encourage proper fluid movement to avoid excess swelling.
