“Deborah has been a resource for me for over 10 years now. Our family is happier and healthier because I had her support to work through many layers in my life! I have worked with her for both longer periods and shorter times, in and off for years, depending on my needs. She has given me tools that I still use and share with others. “She was very nice and provided insight and help around a very touching issue I was having; I’ll be forever grateful for that. However, she did not follow up with the requests she made during each session. As part of my “homework” after one of our sessions I was to expand my support network, and to reach out to her personally on her private cell if I was feeling overwhelmed. I was surprised at this, but was so grateful for the chance to have support when my anxiety piqued. I waited until I had an episode that made me feel helpless. She didn’t respond until a few days later and it read; “please call the office at 705****** to make an appointment”. I was hurt, especially after the things I had revealed to her about my attachment to people. I understand if it was a boundary issue, but would have appreciated an explanation on such. I left a message for Deb to call me to set up an appointment and to also clarify what happened and I received no call back. I’m assuming she forgot as I’ve heard nothing but good things about her, so definitely give her a shot to see if she is able to assist your needs and expectation.
