We saw Norm Hatch for our 2 month old baby who had gas/reflux issue and would sleep only on our chest all night. After our second session we saw great improvement in his condition and he started sleeping on his back throughout the night. I had been experiencing severe pain in my wrist for many months. So much so, I spoke to my GP about it, and he sent me for an x-ray to see if I had hurt any bones. I hadn't. So he told me to put it in a brace and it should feel better after a while. I did that, and it was only getting worse. Every little thing was painful (holding a dinner plate, washing my hair, etc.) My wrist felt like it was on fire, and kept having shooting pains. I met with James at Rockhaven Massage, and he was able to give a very deep tissue massage on certain pressure points in my arm and shoulders, and helped alleviate 90% of my pain. What I liked most about my experience, is that he asked so many questions, and really focused on the issue at hand (no pun intended) instead of just "giving me a massage". He was thorough, very knowledgeable and has helped my wrist feel almost normal (may need another session or two). He also helped release some MAJOR tension in my back. I'm feeling like myself again. Highly recommend if you're looking for actual massage therapy vs. spa-style massage. I often struggle with masseuses who, despite my request, just don't go into the deep tissue enough. Excellent massage parlour! Been coming here since 2018, and I can’t say enough good about this place. The facility is clean as a whistle, welcoming, comfortable, and relaxing. Michelle is a phenomenal massage therapist with amazing social skills and a friendly attitude. I love how she really focuses in on the specific areas of my body that are ailing me. I find she has a wide array of techniques which definitely helps deliver a quality massage. I also love how (before I lay down) she goes over the muscular chart with me to help pinpoint the exact spots that need work. Teaching me a thing or two about the body during the massage is cool as well. These are little things that I haven’t experienced with any other massage therapist, but they really do make the time spent much more effective, educational, and enjoyable. 5/5 - would rate seven stars if I could!Lire la suiteRéduire

We took our baby to Norm here for osteopathy at 3mo old to help with her breastfeeding latch. Progress was noted quite quickly after the first 2 sessions even. Would recommend Norm for his knowledge and ability to work with newborns!

If I were given the option to leave an unlimited amount of stars, I would. For my first ever massage, I was blessed to have been treated by James Noordam. He immediately put me to ease with his friendly demeanor, I wasn't even given the opportunity to be quiet or shy, as the conversation we had left me wishing I had booked more than an hour. His clear knowledge of anatomy, and drive to keep questioning and learning the best ways to help his clients is in my opinion, the best type of person to help relieve your pain.
