“Dr. Paquette has provided outstanding care to our family, consistently going the extra mile to ensure that every detail is carefully assessed. His examinations are always extremely thorough, and he never leaves a question unanswered. I deeply appreciate how he explains the physiology and underlying causes in a clear, understandable way, helping us truly grasp what is happening and why. He has been monitoring my eyes closely for narrow-angle glaucoma and has supported our family through other eye conditions with exceptional attention, professionalism, and compassion. “I drove all the way from Cobble Hill to Royal Oak to see Dr Jordan Kassouf on a friend's recommendation. Never have I ever experienced such a thorough eye exam. “First of all, what a beautiful optometry store, easy to find parking, and a nice modern feel inside. But more importantly, I couldn’t believe the excellent appointment we had with Dr. Leekha. I brought my wheelchair-bound 92 year old mother in for an appointment to check her eyes and we must have had at least 30 minutes with Dr. Leekha! He was super respectful of my mother, patient when she couldn’t remember details, and so caring in his attitude and demeanour. I was blown away. I wish I lived in Victoria so that I could visit this optometry office to have MY eyes checked regularly. Highly recommend this office and Dr. Leekha. Thank you”Read moreShow less

“From May 2025 - end of August 2025, my eyes were bloodshot, itchy and burning. Like an idiot I did nothing thinking I was going blind. Too afraid to face it. At the urging of a family member he insisted I go see Dr. Mark Paquette. On Sep. 2nd I saw Dr. Mark who diagnosed me with severe dry eye. My vision was 20/60 which made me illegal to drive. Today Nov. 14 was my third visit. I am ecstatic to report my eyes are almost back to the bright whites I'd had. I consistently must use two different eye drops which I am more than happy to do. I am happy to report my vision is now 20/20 and I don't need glasses!!! This man is amazing. Very kind and thorough. Very honest as well letting me know that theses drops will be a forever deal. “As one gets older (I am 85), it seems that you reflect more on how things used to be… kinder, gentler, times when life wasn’t so rushed. That is what I love about Dr Zareen Charania and her staff. From the friendly young women at the front desk who smile and ask how my day is going, to the technicians who have all the patience in the world for someone (me) who puts her chin in the wrong place, who doesn’t know her left from her right and has trouble following the “green light”. They kindly ask if it’s okay for them to touch my head and position it…patient and professional. What can I say about Dr Zareen? She takes her time and makes sure that I understand everything that she is doing. The referral to a specialist took 1 ½ days for an appointment to be confirmed. With Dr Zareen, I feel that I matter. “Fine eye exam, the doctor was high pressure for me to buy glasses from them immediately. She implied that my old glasses were poor quality. Which I have double checked that they were the highest quality Nikon lenses. Not a very stylish selection of frames either.”Read moreShow less

“I have been going to Royal Oak Optometry for years and knew they provided exceptional service. My husband decided to switch to Royal Oak and had his first appointment today. He was so impressed with the service from start to finish. The time and care they put into making sure his prescription was right compared to his previous eye doctors was like night and day. “We went to Royal Oak Optometry based on reviews. We were delighted that we chose to have our eyes tested there. Emma at the reception desk was very welcoming. All of the staff were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The office has a comfortable atmosphere with a waiting lounge with a TV. The office also had an extensive display of frames.
