I absolutely love the yoga classes and team at SSI Wellness. The variety and quality of classes offers a rich experience to all I have practiced there with, no matter what level. Classes with Jaya, Jassy, Lena, Charlie and Howie have kept me at strength and at peace for the last 4 years and I am so grateful. Best in the West of yoga teachers🫶 This Center encourages acceptance of personal responsibility for your own wellness. The yoga teachers are professional and walk their talk while gently inviting each client/student to step into an empowered embodied way of walking through this life. I really enjoy my own home practjce yet the community I have found at the Saltspring Wellness Center are literally my West Coast Best Coast Family. The Wellness practitioners are all coming from their hearts and support eachh person in feeling that their unique and individual personal presence(self) is an important contribution to the world and to the community they live in. Since joining the Saltspring Island Wellness Center I feel a felt sense of living a life of purpose and meaningfulness. I've been seeing Jenna for acupuncture and have had such a wonderful experience so far. The studio is cozy and comforting and Jenna is a compassionate, kind, and skilled acupuncturist who really listens to her clients and what they need. I'm hooked and am almost hesitant to recommend her publicly because I feel like she's my hidden secret, but she's too good not to share :)Lire la suiteRéduire

A loaded jackpot of a centre. Gem instructors offering beautiful yoga classes. I love every class & instructor. Hatha & Ashtanga are my core loves, I also love the deep restorative stretches in Yin class. I have fallen in love with Howie’s Great Wall yoga classes; where I find myself walking up walls, flipping into suspended arches and inversions. Then there’s Jai’s Kundalini classes with magical breath work each class that moves me so greatly. Last Kundalini class entailed 3-7 minutes of arms pumping & body rotating exercises where my whole core heated up, my body trembled with electric energy and well I felt a little like a helicopter of light propelling my way from that class. I’m in awe of this yoga community. Class challenges are juicy, calming, edgy, humbling, maybe even teary at times. Just when I think I have no strength left, that I may quit, melt or fall apart, I tap into the clout of the class collective. Focused loving energy & dedication, coupled with the instructors cues and breath work, my spirits soar and raise my strength thru an arc of pain I maybe processing emotionally, floating forward freely in elation. Excited to explore the community acupuncture, dance classes, gym & various other services. So very blessed have found this gem of a centre. A true gift to re-spark my spirit & feed my soul. Practising with the warm and welcoming yoga community at Salt Spring Island Wellness Centre was a highlight of my week's visit to Salt Spring. The teachers are all wonderful in their own unique way. Each created a supportive space giving detailed cues and variations of the poses. The studio is sunny and cheerful with every prop you could possibly need.
