San Fu Tie (三伏贴) is a special seasonal external therapy where hand-mixed herbal patches are applied to acupuncture points on the back and neck to prevent and relieve respiratory and cold-pattern conditions that flare up in the winter like: asthma • chronic bronchitis • coughs •allergic rhinitis • sinus congestion • low immunity • cold extremities • joint pain that worsens in damp or cold weather This treatment harnesses abundant yang energy from the 'dog days' of summer (three "Fu" periods of the Chinese lunar calendar) to penetrate stubborn illness and strengthen the body's qi-- keeping you healthy through the seasons. It is recommended to book three sessions for maximum benefit: First Session: July 14 Middle Session: (Zhong Fu): July 28 Last Session: (Mo Fu): August 18
Using TCM principles for promoting balance, the AcuFacial employs body acupuncture, Facial Acupressure Massage and Facial Acupuncture (when suitable) to bring restorative balance and rejuvenation. Stimulating acupoints on the face, neck, and scalp via acupressure massage and/or facial acupuncture promotes qi and blood circulation for the repair of fine lines, and enhancement of muscle tone. Acupressure massage promotes lymphatic drainage and importantly calms the Heart-Mind through intentional acupressure touch for relieving anxiety, stress and sleep disorders.
