Athletic taping to help maintain a stable position of bones and/or muscles during activity, reduce pain, aid recovery, and prevent injuries.
A small group class for seniors looking for a safe fitness program led by an experienced Kinesiologist. The class is 4 person max to allow for individualized, semi-private programming to suit each individual's unique fitness/rehab requirements. The class is well suited for anyone with osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, pre/post-hip replacement or any condition requiring safety consideration and pain management for an effective and sustainable routine. Each session consists of strengthening exercises focusing on function and postural stability, safely implemented based on each individual's changing needs with professional cueing from a Kinesiologist experienced in movement education and physical training for special populations.
Our Kinesiologist will help you recover from your injuries through 1-on-1 exercise prescription and progression. This first session involves an initial assessment as well as basic exercise programming and planning. If you have recently been in a motor vehicle accident and have an active ICBC Claim number, you are eligible for 12 Kinesiology visits at no cost to yourself. Please bring your claim number, the date of your accident and your lawyer's information to your first appointment.
This treatment is for client's would like to have a full length active session with a Kinesiologist to go through a home exercise or active rehab programs together. This 45 minute session will allow the Kinesiologist time to assess how you are progressing as well as provide instruction on exercise and posture form, while going through the your whole routine and also potentially providing new exercises as well.
