Text sessions are just like any other session, the hour is booked specifically for you, I will text you at your scheduled time to the number on file and we will chat via text for 50 mins. Alternatively you can access's secure messaging via this platform. Text sessions to your cellphone are not as secure as a electronic clinic platforms (ie Jane, this platform). Clients are encouraged to use discretion and maintain privacy and security on their end while the therapist does the same, all messages from the therapist are deleted within 1 hour of the session (after clinical notes have been submitted). Text sessions are ideal for individuals who struggle to find the words, are unable to vocalize, language barriers, and/or struggles with speech. Text sessions are available to everyone, for any reason. I look forward to helping you sort out your thoughts and get you to a place of thriving.
