Radiesse® is a dermal filler composed of Calcium Hydroxyapatite. After it is injected it simulates the production of natural collagen by the body. This creates volume that acts to improve the signs of aging. The product is slowly absorbed by the body over a period of time and can be reinjected at any point safely. Radiesse comes in 1.5 cc and 0.8 cc. syringes offering the advantage of being able to tailor the injection and cost for each individual patient. The results last ~12 to 18 months on average.
